Three renowned personalities in music, soloists of the Berlin State Opera Orchestra under the leadership of Daniel Barenboim founded an exceptional piano trio.

Matthias Glander, Felix Schwartz and Wolfgang Kühnl were inspired to develop their own performances by their constant collaboration with artists such as Daniel Barenboim, Yefim Bronfman and Yo Yo Ma.

They conquered the hearts of their audiences with their performances at Carnegie Hall in New York, at the Berlin Philharmonie, at Suntory Hall in Tokyo as well as in London and Paris.

"Clarinet, viola and Piano", says Robert Schumann "is the most romantic combination of instruments" and always surprises and fascinates the public.

The repertory of the Trio Apollon comprises the Vienna Classic and the German Romantic as well as the music of the 20th century.

Famous contemporary composers dedicated their works to the Trio Apollon.
